Mom-e-Preneurs? Launches Open House at Their 2nd Annual Big House Tea Party

Rancho Cucamonga, CA (PRWEB) May 10, 2011

Juggling a business from home, a marriage, a household and children can not only be isolating but overwhelming for some work at home moms. To solve this dilemma, Mom-e-Preneurs is bridging the gap. Founded by four moms, Mom-e-Preneurs is a non-profit, nationwide organization whose mission is to educate and assist in sustaining a mother?s decision to work at home. Mom-e-Preneurs is a support group for stay at home and work at home moms alike who have decided to eliminate working outside of the home in order to focus on their children and communities. While this group is primarily for work at home moms, they welcome both men and women of all religions, races, colors, educational backgrounds, income levels and even those who work outside of the home.

"Mom-e-Preneurs has been very successful in linking like-minded entrepreneurial moms to share their business ideas and tips, startup strategies, work-family balance concerns, and much more," says founder Charisse McCoy. ?Nothing beats face-to-face interaction?, says co-founder Shurhan Bass. In addition to newsletters, webinars, podcast and seminars, Mom-e-Preneurs has monthly support group meeting where members come together to share, relax, relate and release. With an invited speaker talking about relevant subjects, each mom-e lunches and shares. Being home-based does not mean you are homebound. Through babysitting co-ops women in chapters swap work days in order to increase their productivity. ?Because we are a non-profit, charity is important to us?, says McCoy. Members earn ?sweat equity? to support their endeavors. By volunteering time, talent or treasure to educational and charitable events in the community, that mom-e earns free labor, education, counseling babysitting, assistance and/or services from other members for the business venture. This is money that mom-e saves and recycles back into her family. While momst "momy groups" have a zero solicitation policy, Mom-e-Preneurs encourages networking and supporting each womans endeavor in order to help sustain that momthers decision to work from home. Chapter activities include support group meetings, play dates, community service, family outings, Mom-e Night Outs, date nights and more.

With the national endorsement of Dr. Laura Schlessinger, McCoy and Bass created a blueprint for forming local Mom-e-Preneurs? chapters across the country. To get started, interested entrepreneurial moms can connect with others in their town or city by signing up on a dedicated Mom-e-Preneurs? Local message board on Mom-e-Preneurs.com. McCoy and Bass personally work with each group to select a leader and offer feedback and advice. Once the group is formed, each member will receive a kit that includes a manual, by-laws, mantras with motivational tips, a resource packet with promotional Mom-e-Preneurs? merchandise, free access to a Mom-e-Preneurs online forum and national directory and exclusive teleconferences and webinars. Annual membership dues are just $ 75.

With the mantra, ?I?m Every Woman?, Mom-e-Preneurs is having their 2nd Annual Big Hat Tea Party Saturday, May 14, 2011 from Noon ? 2pm. If you have visions of British gentry or are envisioning scenes from Alice in Wonderland or blue haired ladies; this is not that tea party. This event is open to the public with a call to mothers, wives, sisters and friends for an afternoon of high tea, lunch, shopping, keynote speakers, vendors, work at home options and fellowship. Bring an open heart and an open mind along with your biggest, boldest or most unique fedora, Kentucky Derby, beret, bowler, fez or Sunday?s Best. This is an adult only event. Tickets are $ 25 each with a portion of the proceeds going to BeTheMatch.org. For additional information visit: http://www.mom-e-preneurs.com. If you want to meet these fascinating women and learn more about their mission, you are invited to come out.

After appearing live on air on Sirus XM Radio with Dr. Laura Schlessinger on April 1, 2011, McCoy and Bass are extremely enthusiastic about expanding their brand and taking this next "step" in nurturing home-based businesswomen by connecting entrepreneurial moms face-to-face. Come help bridge the gap on May 14, 2011 at the 2nd Annual Big Hat Tea!
